The Western Governors’ Association (WGA) is a nonprofit organization focused on bipartisan policy
development. WGA was established in 1984 to represent the Governors of the 22 westernmost states
and territories. As an employee of WGA, you will be on a team of passionate staff dedicated to the
service of Western Governors.
The Policy Advisor is responsible for managing a portfolio of issues to advance bipartisan Governors’ policy. The position typically involves working constructively with a bipartisan group of Governors and their staff, direct engagement with federal lawmakers and their staff, senior agency personnel, and key stakeholders to advocate for legislation, regulation, and public policy.
