Western Governors support an array of funding, trade, education, research, and workforce development programs that promote agricultural contributions to the economies and quality of life in western states.  The Governors, in this updated resolution, highlight the production and conservation benefits of precision agriculture technologies and provide recommendations to support this growing sector.  Changes in climate, the increased prevalence and severity of extreme weather events, extended drought, and the approaching Farm Bill reauthorization necessitate the advancement of Western Governors’ policy which supports, protects, and advocates for the continued health of western agricultural communities and their economies. Read, download the resolution.
